Dr. Thuy-Tu Nguyen (D.M.D.)

Dr. Nguyen graduated from the University of Montreal where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 1995.  She pursued a Residency in General Dentistry with McGill University at the Montreal General Hospital in 1996.  She has Been practicing dentistry for over 18 years at Orleans Gardens Dental Centre.

Dr. Ken Marenco (D.D.S.)

Dr. Marenco completed his dental education at McGill University in 1998.

In 1999, he went on to pursue graduate training at the Montreal General Hospital’s general practice residency.

From 1999 – 2003, Dr. Marenco acted as faculty lecturer and clinical instructor to the dental residents at the Montreal General Hospital, a graduate teaching clinic of McGill University’s Faculty of Dentistry.

From 1999 – 2003, he provided endodontic and surgical periodontal therapy at two general dental practices in Montreal while providing comprehensive dental care at a third clinic.

In 2003, Dr. Marenco moved to Ottawa, where he became part owner of the Orleans Gardens Dental Centre. 

He currently resides with his wife and two children in the community of Orleans.” 

His passion for dentistry shows through the patience and care he provides his patients.  He is always up-to-date on the latest techniques through his involvement in continuing education courses and the careful review of scientific, peer-reviewed dental literature.

Dr. Marenco prides himself in providing patients with information to guide them in making the best possible decisions on procedures and treatments towards their dental care and their vision for their oral health.

Few referrals are required since most services are provided at the clinic.  This includes an orthodontic specialist, IV sedation wisdom teeth removal, implant placement and root canals.

Dr. Marenco's practice mainly focuses on comprehensive dental care for the whole family, but also provides surgical services including implant placement and periodontal surgical services.

He plays hockey and tennis and enjoys spending time with his family and friends, skiing, soccer, cycling, swimming, traveling, and renovating.


Dr. David Chambers (D.D.S., Orthodontist)

Dr. Chambers earned his Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Mathematics and Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Western Ontario in 2004. He enjoyed 7 years providing general dentistry to members of the Canadian Forces as a civilian dentist. With an interest in focusing expertise in orthodontics, Dr. Chambers returned to the University of Western Ontario for 3 years of full-time specialty training, obtaining his Master of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics in 2014.

Dr. David Craig (B.Sc., D.D.S.)

Dr. David Craig graduated from the University of Dalhousie 1992 where he obtained his degree in dentistry. He relocated to the Kingston area in 1997 where he continued to practice dentistry and ran the clinic at RMC Kingston. Dr. Craig took over the practice of Dr. John Brisley when he retired from his Napanee clinic in 1999, and of Dr. John Turner when he retired from his Kingston clinic in 2002. Since then, Dr. Craig has also inherited the patients of Dr. Tom McDonough and Dr. Lapeer as they ended their careers in dentistry. Dr. Craig also performs surgery in Ottawa involving wisdom teeth removal and implant placement.

Dr. Craig has taken continuing education and additional training in a variety of dental services such as Surgical Restoration, IV sedation and Advanced Nitrous Oxide, Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, Medical Emergencies, Nitrous Oxide and Oral Sedation, Operative Dentistry as well as Oral Surgery. Dr. Craig enjoys the small town feel that Kingston and Napanee have to offer. Aside from dentistry, Dr. Craig enjoys spending time with his wife, Krista, and his two beautiful children Portia and Pierce. He enjoys golf, boating, skiing and travelling.

Jennifer Brennan (Office Manager)

A member of the OGDC family since 2008, Jennifer was Dr. Marenco’s Treatment Coordinator for 10 years until becoming Office Manager in 2018. When not at work, Jen & her husband are kept very busy by their two toddlers. In her spare time, Jen wipes noses, picks up toys, and breaks up fights. She hopes to someday resume her previous hobbies of reading and crafting.

Kandice Laprade (Hygiene Coordinator)

Kandice graduated in 2008 as a Level II Dental Assistant. She has been with Orleans Gardens Dental Centre since March 2014. She has gained much knowledge over the years in many aspects of dentistry, including Pediatrics, and Orthodontics. Kandice likes to spend time with her two boys, Rylen and Jackson, and their dog, Bowser. She enjoys being active and runs 5K races throughout the year.

Jessica Porter (Treatment Coordinator for Dr. Nguyen)

Jessica joined our team in 2016 as an office administrator and treatment coordinator. She graduated from Everest College in 2012 with honors in the dental assisting programs level 1 and 2. When not working, Jessica enjoys shopping, baking cakes,and scrapbooking.

Calista Payment (Treatment Coordinator for Dr. Marenco)

Calista has spent most of her life in Orleans, but was born In Cornwall, ON. She studied Office Administration at Algonquin College and joined the Orleans Gardens Dental team in 2018 as Treatment Coordinator for Drs. Chambers and Craig. Calista's free-time is mostly taken up by cuddling with her Chihuahua, Harley. When she isn't spoiling him, she can be found driving around town, singing along to her favourite songs on the radio.

Natalie Martin (Registered Dental Hygienist)

Natalie has been a valued member of our Orleans Gardens Dental team since 1996.

She graduated from University of Moncton in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts. In 1995 she moved to Ottawa from New Brunswick to pursue her education. In 1996 she graduated from La Cité Collegiale with a certificate in Dental Assisting and in 1998 she received her diploma in Dental Hygiene. Natalie was recruited to the board of La Cité collegiale Dental Hygiene from (2001-2008). Over the years she has worked in various fields including general practice, orthodontics, oral surgery and taught oral health education at various schools.
When not educating our patients about the importance of oral health she can be found travelling, baking and cooking delicious meals and spending as much time outdoors as she can with her husband and her two beautiful Chows ShenLung and FuShīLu.
Natalie's infectious laughter can be heard throughout our clinic and her cheery personality puts our nervous patients at ease. She serves our community in english or french, with smiles for everyone.

Kimberly Juma (Registered Dental Hygienist)

Kim started at the Orleans Gardens Dental Centre in 2007 as a Dental Assistant.  Later that year she attended Niagara College for the Dental Hygiene program and returned to the office after graduating in 2009. Her infectious laugh can be heard throughout the clinic. In her spare time, Kim enjoys spending time with family, friends and her husband Khalim. 

Jessica Pinto (Registered Dental Hygienist)

Jessica has been working with Orleans Gardens Dental Centre since 2013.  She began her studies at La Cite Collegiale (one of Ontario’s French speaking colleges) in 2010, successfully completed their Dental Hygiene Program in the summer of 2012.  Although she has only just started her career, there is no doubt that she enjoys it and is looking forward to continue learning.  Jessica enjoys spending time with friends, family and beings outdoors with her dog.

Jennifer Glofcheskie (Registered Dental Hygienist)

Jennifer is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Niagara College in 2009, receiving the "Golden Scaler Award", for having the highest clinical standing in her graduating class. Jenn started her hygiene career with us in 2009 and was part of our team for one year before moving to Western Canada. She returned to our clinic in 2015 and plans to grow her career here. She has a passion for oral health, continuing education and client based care. Her calming personality will help you feel comfortable and at ease during your hygiene appointments. She is a great team player, her work ethic and love for her career adds to our office's patient based philosophy. In her free time she likes to be with her family and friends, visit the cottage, and loves to stay active and healthy.

Sandy Turcotte (Registered Dental Hygienist)

Sandy discovered her calling to work in the dental field while in high school during a co-op placement. In 1994, she graduated from Canadore College's Dental Assisting program. She fulfilled her mandatory year assisting in a general practice in Pembroke before applying to the Dental Hygiene program at La Cité Collégiale in 1995. Since graduating in 1996, she has worked in many different settings including pediatrics, orthodontics and biological dentistry. She joined our team in 2015, and works part-time in our office. Her gentle yet thorough technique helps put even the most anxious clients at ease. During her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her feisty daughter and busy dog.

Chrissie Lamb (Registered Dental Hygienist)

Chrissie started her dental career in 1996 when she completed the co-op program in high school, this was just the stepping stone to a life long career in the dental field. Years later she completed the Level 2 dental assisting program and gained her experience with intra oral dental procedures. In 2005 she moved to Toronto and completed her Dental Hygiene program. After 11 years in Toronto she moved back to Orleans where she grew up and settled into the Avalon area. It's been chrissie's mission to educate her clients about the connection between oral health to overall health while reducing their inflammation. While not at work Chrissie spends time with her twin baby girls, husband and dog.

Tara Lynn Brady (Registered Dental Hygienist)

Tara is a farm girl who was born and raised in Alberta. On her days off, she enjoys spending time with her friends, travelling to Alberta to visit her family, exploring what the beautiful province of Ontario has to offer, or relaxing at home with a glass of wine. Tara knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in dentistry, she was just unsure of what position would suit her best.

Being a strong family-orientated girl, scared to travel far from home for hygiene school, she stayed in Alberta and excelled in her Dental Assisting program at Columbia College in Calgary. After working for 3 years as a Registered Dental Assistant, she learned she had a passion for educating and informing patients about their oral health and building a strong rapport with patients to make the trips to the dentist a little more pleasant. Tara decided to go back to school to become a Registered Dental Hygienist, and with immense support and encouragement from her family, she succeeded in completing the Dental Hygiene program at the Canadian National Institute of Health in Ottawa. She is dedicated to continuing education to improve her knowledge and skills in order to provide you with the highest quality of care, and will work hard to earn your trust and ensure comfort while you are at the office.

Chantal Fournier (Registered Dental Hygienist)

Chantal graduated with honours from the Dental Hygiene program at La Cite Collégiale in 2012. She grew up in Orléans and is very passionate about serving the community she grew up in. Fluently bilingual, Chantal is more than happy to serve her patients in English or en Français. In her spare time Chantal likes to do crafts, watch movies, play video games and spend time with her husband Justin and dogs Daisy and Lola.

Since graduating from Dental Assisting Level II in 2011, Jessie has had the opportunity to work with both Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Marenco. She has been treatment coordinator and chairside assistant for both doctors. While currently working as Dr. Marenco’s assistant, you may also see her assisting our orthodontist, Dr. Ring. Jessie’s warm and friendly personality will surely make you feel at ease.

Melanie Oetelaar (Dental Assistant for Dr. Nguyen)

 Melanie graduated from the Dental Assistant program Level II from La Cite Collegiale in 2011. She has been working at our office since October 2016, with both Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Marenco. Melanie is very versatile in the office, you can see her working at the front desk or helping in the back. She was raised in a small town outside of Ottawa. In her spare time, she enjoys playing hockey, walks with her dog and spending time with her family and friends.

Jennifer El-Aou (Dental Assistant)

Jennifer graduated from the Dental Assisting program Level II at Algonquin College in 2016. She also has a background in Office Administration after graduating her course in 2011. Jennifer is a people person and enjoys interacting with people. She enjoys being part of a professional dental team that provides exceptional dental care. Her interests outside of the practice include spending time with friends and family, going to the movies, attending events and going on road trips!
